Review: Four Hearts by Belle Brooks (The Game of Life #4)

Four Hearts (The Game of Life #4) is coming FEBRUARY 28th!! Read my thoughts!

“The Wolf can break my bones, but he can’t destroy my heart.”

I will never lie down and say die because there are four hearts that beat for me, including my own, and it’s the strongest weapon I have. I will defeat the Wolf. I will take his life. He’d better sleep with one eye open, because I’m coming for him.
Who is the Wolf? He’s one dead son-of-a-bitch in my eyes. He underestimated me and now he has no clue where I am. I’ve found my place to hide, and it’s only a matter of time until I see my freedom.

“Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, burn in hell, Red, because I’ve had enough.” – The Wolf

The game isn’t over yet. For me, it’s just begun.

PSA: This is book three in The Game of Life Series. It is absolutely necessary to read the previous book in order to get the hang of what’s happening.

Reading order:

One Fear – Review

Two Footsteps – Review

Three Breaths – Review

Four Hearts – Review below!

Five Fights – To be released (March 13th)

Here’s what we know/what happened in the first book:
The Wolf hates Morgan. We don’t know why.
He kidnapped her and wants her to play this crazy game that we know nothing about but will probably end pretty badly.
Reid, Morgan’s husband, is doing everything in his power to find his wife.
Also, no one knows who the Wolf is. Is he even a real person?! Who knows?!

Here’s what we know/what happened in the second book:
We know Morgan and Reid have been hiding some things. And because of those secrets Reid becomes a suspect for a second. All of that happens while The Wolf keeps playing games/torturing Morgan.
Aaaand we still have no clue who The Wolf is or why he’s doing what he’s doing.

Here’s what we know/what happened in the third book:
The Wolf is still torturing Morgan. Morgan thinks she may have discovered who he is but nothing is confirmed. Reid is still looking for Morgan. Ends in major edge-of-my-seat excitement.

This fourth book was great from beginning to end. I couldn’t put it down even for a second and it is exciting with capital e. A lot of things happen since we’re nearing the end of the story but I can’t really say anything about this book because spoilers. Just know that we still don’t know who The Wolf is for sure and the suspense is killing me! I need to know who he is. Also, Morgan is still a part in The Wolf’s sick game and he hates her now more than ever. I’m desperate to read what happens next!!

Sorry for the incredibly short review! There’s not much I can say without giving anything away so I’m trying to keep my mouth (mind) shut. Go start reading this series if you haven’t already so you can catch up and don’t miss the amazing finale!
